Rating: Okay, it says NR (not rated) on amazon, but I would rate this R! Runtime: 1 hour 35 min. Summary(amazon.com): Two young women go on a Mediterranean vacation and uncover the watery lair of a killer mermaid hidden beneath an abandoned military fortress. My Review: Since Halloween is this month, I wanted to review another scary mermaid movie! When I first saw the trailer for this, I was intrigued. There aren't a lot of scary mermaid movies out there. Sadly, this movie was very predictable. For the first half of the movie, the plot flat-lined, and I was waiting for something exciting to happen. This movie also follows the typical "you know who's going to survive last" plot line; usually the smartest person with the most skills. However, despite the not-so-great writing, the mermaid was so cool! And beautiful :) Take a look!
I don't recommend this movie. Instead, for a good Halloween/scary mermaid movie, I would watch She Creature, which I reviewed! I give this movie (**) 2 stars. -Sirenita The Selkie
