My Review:

The Pinkalicious series is about a little girl who has a fascination with everything pink, and loves to go on adventures. In this book, the text is simple, but tells enough of a story to follow.

And how can we forget the mermaid? She's small, but gorgeous! I love her beautiful green tail!

But there was something negative about this book that I can't ignore. After Pinkalicious finds the mini-mermaid, Aqua, she takes her everywhere on land despite the mini-mermaid's protests. I didn't like that Pinkalicious refuses to listen to Aqua's pleas to go back home. It made the plot very sad, and sends a negative message to mer-children.

Overall this book was okay, but it was more about Pinkalicious not listening! I give this book (***) 3 stars.
